Firetop Mountain og Getawaycab (Finland) på Garage

Firetop Mountain spiller konsert med sine nye Finske venner i bandet Getawaycab. Opplev Nordisk indie rock på sitt beste på Garage onsdag 10. februar.

Firetop Mountain

Firetop Mountain ble startet i Oslo høsten 2006. Idag består bandet av Ola Helland-Pedersen (trommer), Anne Mette Hårdnes (tangenter/kor), Kim Stensen Sollien (gitar/kor), Michael Stensen Sollien (vokal og gitar) samt Nils Roland Lier (bass) som ble med i bandet i 2008. Musikken er inspirert av 90-tallets indierock og “helter” som Radiohead, Lemonheads, The Posies samt nyere band som Death Cab for Cutie og Arcade Fire.

Getawaycab

Getawaycab is an indie rock band consisting of four guys who share an interest in trying to make the best music they can. The resulting music is a mixture of simple and complex, quiet and loud, energetic and melodic.

The band was formed in Kauhajoki, Finland in 2002 by Henri, Tuomo and Juuso. Their first EP, Sleep Forever, was released in summer 2004, after which the line-up came to its current form as Iiro joined in. The second EP, Dancing with Thieves, came out in September 2006, suprising the band with the warm welcome it received! New single titled as So Long came out on the 01st of December 2008. At the moment the band is recording songs for their debut album and everything is mighty fine!
